KSU Independent Films is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Kent State Film Festival. Last year, hundreds of guests attended the inaugural KSFF, and got to see films created by the next generation of filmmakers. These films wowed judges and audience members alike with their impeccable visuals, story, audio, acting, and editing. This year we are continuing the tradition and announcing the 2nd Annual Kent State Film Festival. Once again we are calling on filmmakers from around Kent State University and beyond to submit their films to our festival. Not only will the best films be played at the film festival, they could also receive an award in one of our several categories.
The film festival will take place at 7pm in Architecture Building Room 120 on April 24th. Tickets will be $10 per person and tickets are on sale soon.
Films are being accepted now until April 6th at 11:59pm.
We are accepting films of all genres (fiction, documentary, animation, etc). Submissions must be less than 20 minutes in length.
Submissions to the festival are free for current and past Kent State University students.
All others must pay $10 per submission via a donation at https://kentstatefilms.com/donate/
